Project
The Oak Leaf
19-unit affordable apartment community in Shorewood, Wisconsin

Overview
The Oak Leaf transforms a former parking lot along Shorewood's Oakland Avenue corridor into 19 income-qualified homes, adding much needed affordable housing to one of Milwaukee County's most desirable and walkable neighborhoods.
Residents are minutes from downtown Milwaukee and UW-Milwaukee, with groceries, schools, parks, dining and frequent transit all within an easy walk. Contemporary architecture was designed to respect the character of the surrounding neighborhood while delivering the amenities today's renters expect.
Developed by Spoerl Commercial, the project sets a new standard for affordable living in the village: modern finishes, inclusive and accessible design, and a pet-friendly community built for the long term.
